See what's new after an update

When SkyScribe has been updated since your last visit, a notification offers to show you what changed. You can turn this off with "Don't show me this any more", and back on from the Release notes switch in Settings. The version number in Settings opens the list any time.

Notification close buttons work with screen readers

They're now announced as "Close notification".

Release notes in the User Guide

A What's new page lists the changes that matter to you in each release, and a Full changelog page has every release in detail. Both live under Reference in the User Guide.

Opening a folder from the Image Library grid

Clicking a folder in the Image Library grid sometimes showed "This folder doesn't exist". Folders now open wherever you click them: the grid, the sidebar, or the breadcrumbs.

Add to New Folder works with screen readers

The folder name field in Add to New Folder is now properly labelled.

Clearer Manage Subscription page

If a change to one of your sites can't be made (for example because your subscription has ended), you now see why instead of nothing happening. A site added with Add a site appears without refreshing, and your sites stay in the same order after you launch one.

Rescinding a submission

Collaborators can rescind a Document they've submitted for review again. It previously failed.

Saves that can't go through now say why

If saving a Document is refused (for example because it was changed somewhere else in the meantime), a message now explains what happened instead of the save silently doing nothing.

Image uploads are a SkyScribe PRO feature

Uploading images to the Image Library needs an active SkyScribe PRO subscription. You can still use images by URL on any plan.

Terms, Acceptable Use and an updated Privacy Policy

SkyScribe now has Terms of Service and an Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy covers payments. They're linked from the Settings menu, along with an "About SkyScribe" panel.

One image picker everywhere

Choosing an image works the same way across the app, whether it's for a logo, a splash image or a Document, with your library and any Publication folders you can use in one place.

The Wizard preview matches your live site more closely

The preview is drawn from the same compiled design your live site uses, so what you see while designing is what visitors get.
