SkyScribe Sites

A SkyScribe Site is a website that SkyScribe designs, hosts, and runs for you. You choose a look in a visual wizard, connect it to one of your Publications, and it goes live at your-name.skyscribe.site — no code, no servers.

The path to a live site

Design a look            →  The design wizard produces a Design Config
Subscribe                →  PRO subscription; each site is one Site Slot
Connect it               →  Assign a Design Config + a Publication to a Slot
Launch                   →  Pick a subdomain; the site goes live

What you need

  • An active PRO subscription. The wizard itself is free to try — saving a design and hosting a site are the paid parts.
  • At least one Publication with some published Documents (see Authoring). A SkyScribe Site shows the content of exactly one Publication.

Note

SkyScribe is live but not yet open to everyone. While it's in this phase, the paid steps — subscribing, launching, image uploads — are limited to early-access accounts. Everything else (writing, organising, the free wizard trial) is open.

Custom domains

SkyScribe Sites are served at your-name.skyscribe.site. Serving one from your own domain isn't available yet. (A Publication does have its own Domain field, but that's used by the SDK path, not by hosted sites.)
